Savannah Guthrie sits in for Ann Curry on 'Today' show

Savannah Guthrie sat in for outgoing co-anchor Ann Curry on Friday morning's edition of "Today" in New York.

Curry tearfully confirmed on Thursday's show she had been ousted after a year as co-host with Matt Lauer, but she said she would continue working for NBC News as a national/international correspondent.
Guthrie, who has been rumored to be replacing Curry, was by Lauer's side Friday; however, NBC has not said she is permanently taking over the post.
