Sam Huntington will play Jimmy Olsen in 'Superman Returns'

Sam Huntington will play Jimmy Olsen, cub reporter at the Daily Planet, in Bryan Singer's "Superman Returns," the Hollywood Reporter said Monday.

Huntington's screen credits include "Not Another Teen Movie" and "Jungle 2 Jungle."

Brandon Routh ("Undressed,""One Life to Live") will play Clark Kent/Superman and Kevin Spacey will play Lex Luthor. The Reporter said Kate Bosworth ("Beyond the Sea") is in talks to play Lois Lane.
