The show will follow the father and daughter film and television stars, who have had a stormy relationship for decades while they have each battled substance-abuse problems.

OWN said it is also planning a docu-series starring former "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" star Carson Kressley, and a reality program featuring mother and daughter country music stars Naomi and Wynonna Judd.

"The Judds," "Carson-Nation" and "Ryan and Tatum: The O'Neals" are to premiere in 2011.

"We're excited these two iconic families are allowing us to chronicle their personal stories as they embark on new chapters. We think our viewers will relate to the complex and dynamic relationships of Wynonna and Naomi Judd and Ryan and Tatum O'Neal," Lisa Erspamer, OWN's chief creative officer, said in a statement.

"And Carson's hilarious adventures on the road will entertain and surprise."
