Russell Armstrong hangs himself in 'The Real Housewives' suicide

Russell Armstrong, the estranged husband of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member Taylor Armstrong, has apparently hanged himself, police said.

People.com said Russell, 47, was found dead Monday night at his Los Angeles home.
"I can confirm that Mr. Armstrong was found dead from an apparent hanging in a residence on Mulholland Drive," Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Richard French told the Web site.
Taylor, 40, filed for divorce from Russell last month.
She cited alleged physical and verbal abuse as the reasons for the split, People.com said Tuesday.
