Traffic in Philadelphia came to a halt on Friday morning as police chased down an escaped horse.
Philadelphia Police arrived on the scene shortly after and began to track down the spry horse, which led them on a slow-speed chase throughout the area for about an hour and a half.
Owner Stephon Tolbert said the horse he calls "Big Mama" had escaped from his property in Strawberry Mansion and made her way out into the street after he mistakenly let her out.
"I opened the door she knocked me down," he said.
Police eventually managed to guide Big Mama into a horse trailer and formed a caravan to escort her back home.
Tolbert said he was "very very thankful" to the officers for participating in the bizarre capture and bringing the horse home.
