An Austin, Texas, company has found success on the Internet with its satirical advertising videos showing protesters demanding "Free Range Root Beer."

The advertisements, for organic soda company Maine Root, depict protesters calling for an end to the mistreatment of soda bottles, the Austin American-Statesman reported Friday.
One of the company's commercials was downloaded more than 75,000 times on Web sites including Myspace.com and Youtube.com.
"It promotes Maine Root by railing against anti-organic practices," said M.P. Mueller, president of advertising agency Door Number 3, which made the videos. "The whole point of the Web site is a parody."
Main Root is dedicated to environmentalism, using only organic sugar cane in its products and fueling all of its trucks with biodiesel.
The company distributes to 28 states and Britain. Mark Seiler, president and co-founder of Maine Root, said the company hopes to expand to 37 states by 2007.
