Rod Stewart finally files for divorce from Rachel Hunter

With a baby on the way with his finance', rocker Rod Stewart has finally filed papers in Los Angeles to divorce the wife who left him six years ago.

Stewart cited irreconcilable differences with estranged wife Rachel Hunter in the divorce petition filed with California's Superior Court, Hellomagazine.com reported Monday.
Hunter had filed her own divorce papers in 2003, but she withdrew her petition in what is believed to be a dispute over money.
The model is the mother of two of Stewart's children.
Stewart reportedly filed his divorce petition last week after announcing his current girlfriend, Penny Lancaster, is due to give birth to his seventh child in December.
Stewart has said he plans to marry Lancaster as soon as the divorce from Hunter is finalized.
