Richard Hatch, of Providence, R.I., who won $1 million on the first reality series "Survivor" on CBS has withdrawn his plea agreement for tax evasion.

The agreement involved Hatch entering a guilty plea and paying the back taxes on his $1 million prize money, $10,000 he received for appearing in another "Survivor" episode and the $321,000 he made co-hosting a Boston radio show, reported E! Online Friday.
In exchange for the guilty plea, the U.S. attorney's office in Providence, R.I., was going to recommend the most lenient sentence.
No reason was given for Hatch's change of heart. His case will now be sent to a grand jury, which will decide whether to indict Hatch for tax evasion.
