The "Saturday Night Live" audience got a chance to decide if Tina Fey or Sarah Palin does a better job as the Republican U.S. vice presidential candidate.

The show opened with Fey as Palin holding her first news conference while the Alaska governor watched her on a monitor.
Palin then took over to tell reporters "Live from New York, it's Saturday night.'
While Palin was still watching the monitor, Alec Baldwin, who plays Fey's boss on "30 Rock," mistook her for Fey and then, once he realized his mistake, told her she was hotter in person.
The show was hosted by Josh Brolin, who plays President Bush in the Oliver Stone movie "W," which hit the theaters Friday.
Brolin told the audience he learned that he and Bush had a lot in common and that "neither of us should be president."
Fey has played Palin several times since John McCain picked her to be his running mate. In one skit, much of her dialogue was quoted directly from Palin's interview with Katie Couric.
