CBS executives are considering a shakeup in prime time as they prepare to announce the fall schedule this month, The Hollywood Reporter said Monday.

The paper said the network is already preparing for Monday nights without "Everybody Loves Raymond," which is coming to the end of its nine-year run. The network has already started experimenting with its Monday lineup, scheduling the Wednesday night comedy "King of Queens" in "Raymond's" customary slot this week -- possibly as a trial run to see if the Kevin James comedy would be better off returning to Mondays for the 2005-06 season.
The Reporter said the two comedies leading off Monday nights for CBS -- "Still Standing" and "Listen Up" -- have never caught on with viewers and it is not clear whether they will return for a second season.
The paper said "the smart money" is on "Two and a Half Men" -- which has done well in the ratings in a 9:30 p.m. timeslot in its sophomore season -- to replace "Raymond" in the key timeslot at 9 p.m. next season.
