Hollywood actor and filmmaker Mel Gibson has broken up with Oksana Grigorieva, his girlfriend of more than a year, a source told People.com.

The couple have a 5-month-old daughter named Lucia. Gibson also has seven other children with his wife Robyn, who filed for divorce from him last April.
"They just drifted apart," a close friend of Gibson and Grigorieva told the celebrity Web site. "They're both working hard on their careers and trying to raise a sweet baby together. They're still friends and they'll both raise Lucia together."
Gibson is in Mexico making the film "How I Spent My Summer Vacation," while Grigorieva is working on her music, People.com said.
