Report: Jennifer Connelly in talks to co-star in 'Blood Diamond'

Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Connelly is in talks to star with Leonardo DiCaprio in the Warner Bros. Pictures film "The Blood Diamond."

The film is about an indigent African farmer who gets caught between a smuggler and the diamond cartel, The Hollywood Reporter said Wednesday.
Edward Zwick will direct once shooting locations in Africa are chosen.
Connelly won a supporting actress Oscar for her role in "A Beautiful Mind" and recently wrapped filming Todd Field's "Little Children."
