Federal prosecutors have a videotape that shows two bodyguards for the rapper, whose real name is Jeffrey Atkins, shooting the two victims outside the LQ nightclub last year, the New York Post reported Monday.
One of the men died, but the other has reportedly agreed to spill all about the incident as well as what led up to it, the Post said.
Sources told the newspaper the victims of the shooting were suspected of robbing the brother of rapper Foxy Brown -- a crime never reported to police. Speculation is that the shootings were retaliation, the Post said.
Ja Rule's attorney told the Post his client had nothing to do with the shootings, but the newspaper said he could be facing murder conspiracy charges depending on the outcome of the federal investigation.
