Jon Gosselin is reportedly ready to get back to work.

"He knows that he can't do any other television shows [because of the settlement] but would like to get out there and work to provide for his family," a source told RadarOnline in a Friday report.

The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star remains under contract with TLC as part of a settlement that was reached between him and the network after it sued him for breach of contract and he subsequently countersued.

Despite an inability to return to television, RadarOnline reported Gosselin has "been approached to do several projects like invest in new companies or be the face of a certain product" -- however he is apparently holding out for more conventional full-time employment.

"He's considering different options. He's not looking for something short term," the source told RadarOnline about Gosselin, who currently pays $21,700 of monthly child support to ex-wife Kate Gosselin.

In addition, the source said Gosselin -- who worked in information technology before Jon & Kate Plus 8 became his regular job -- is looking for "something he can do well."

"He's getting his life back together a little bit at a time," the source told RadarOnline. "He has a stable relationship with someone who has a job, he has his own place. He's exercising again, he's in a good place."
