Disney Studios is developing "Blowback," an action/comedy vehicle for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Ryan Reynolds, Variety said Tuesday.

Reynolds will be an executive producer and Sheldon Turner is writing the script.

Johnson last graced the silver screen in "Be Cool" and will be back soon in "Doom," now in post-production for Universal. He is shooting Sony's "Gridiron Gang."

Reynolds co-starred in "Blade: Trinity" and "The Amityville Horror" and will next be seen in Lions Gate's "Waiting" and New Line's "Just Friends."

Turner is writing the "X-Men" spinoff "Magneto" and Plan B's "Wanted."
