Infinity Broadcasting has tapped former Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth as one of the replacements for Howard Stern, FoxNews.com reported Monday.

The Fox Web site reported California-based comedian Adam Carolla will most likely take over Stern's morning show on West Coast radio stations while Roth will replace Stern in the East.
Stern is jumping ship at the end of the year from his syndicated show to Sirius Satellite Radio, leaving Infinity to fill his morning slot across the nation.
Infinity officials previously said they were considering hiring several regional morning hosts for the job.
