Report: 'Alias' star Jennifer Garner gives birth to baby girl

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have welcomed their new daughter at a Los Angeles hospital, Us Weekly reported Thursday.

Garner, 33, was due to give birth Dec. 8 but doctors induced labor Wednesday night, a source told the magazine.
The source said Affleck, 33, was by Garner's side throughout her labor and for the birth of the baby girl.
The pair reportedly planned to name their daughter Violet, Us Weekly said.
A rep for Garner refused to either confirm or deny the news.
