Ray Charles tops Billboard 200 album chart, Green Day second

The late Ray Charles soared to the top of the Billboard 200 chart for his first No. album in four decades Wednesday with "Genius Loves Company."

Green Day's best rock album Grammy winner "American Idiot" was second, and "The Documentary" by rapper The Game was No. 3.

Capitol's "Grammy Nominees 2005" was No. 4, and Usher's best contemporary R&B album-winning "Confessions" followed in fifth place.

"Seventeen Days" by 3 Doors Down slipped to No. 6, Newcomer John Legend's Columbia debut "Get Lifted" fell to seventh place and Eminem's "Encore" claimed the No. 8 spot.

Maroon 5's "Songs About Jane" rose to ninth and Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway" was No. 10.
