Rapper Lil' Kim is asking her fans to petition a New York judge for a lenient sentence for her conviction of perjury and conspiracy.

On her lilkimzone.com Web site, fans are encouraged to write letters to Judge Gerard Lynch before the rapper's June 24 sentencing for three counts of perjury and one count of conspiracy, which carry a maximum of five years on each count, the New York Post reported Wednesday.

Fans are even given a list of do's and don'ts.

"Do NOT criticize the justice system," the site says. "Do NOT criticize the judge. Do NOT criticize the verdict. Do NOT criticize the court case or mention it in any way. Do NOT give opinions on what her sentence should be, simply ask for leniency."

It went on to draw a parallel with another woman's recent prison woes.

"Do NOT mention Martha Stewart or any other celebrities (especially those in the music industry)."

Lil' Kim -- whose legal name is Kimberly Jones -- was convicted of lying to cover up for two members of her entourage involved in a shooting outside a New York radio station February 2001.
