New York's Radio City Rockettes are kicking away their conservative costumes and adding a little spice to their annual holiday show.

The high-stepping dance team will debut the skimpiest costume in its 73 years in the Big Apple when the curtain goes up on the Radio City Christmas Spectacular Nov. 3, the New York Post reported Thursday.
The Rockettes' new costume comes from Broadway costume designer Gregg Barnes.
"We were trying to come up with a new, sexier look and give them something more cocktail-like where you can see their body," Rockettes associate costume designer Cory Ching told the Post.
Radio City Executive Producer John Bonanni called the new look "a very contemporary look at tradition."
