Rachel Lindsay has a simple explanation for why she decided to become The Bachelorette star and search for love on TV again.

According to the 31-year-old Dallas attorney, she wasn't having any luck finding a man away from cameras.

"You think it would be easy [dating in the real world], but no!" Lindsay said during a Friday appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Rachel was announced by ABC as The Bachelorette's upcoming Season 13 star nearly two weeks ago. Because she's still competing for Nick's heart on The Bachelor's currently-airing 21st season -- which is heading into Nick's round of overnight Fantasy-Suite dates -- her casting was a major spoiler.

When asked whether she knows who received Nick's final rose, Rachel slyly said, "Maybe... I'm going to be watching for the first time just like everyone else."

"It could be [Vanessa Grimaldi]; It could be [Raven Gates]," Rachel teased.

Ellen DeGeneres argued that Raven, a fashion boutique owner from Arkansas, can't win because she wrestled Nick in the mud. Ellen jokingly noted that "was the wrong thing to do."

"It seems like he kind of likes that," Rachel pointed out with a laugh. "You saw him in the bouncy house [with Corinne Olympios]. That's his thing!"

Although Corinne was portrayed as Season 21's villain, Rachel is actually quite fond of the Miami blonde bombshell.

"I love Corinne. Can I just put that out there? I love Corinne," the attorney gushed. "Unfortunately you only get to see some sides of Corinne. I got to see all the sides of Corinne living in the house with her. She's great... Who wouldn't [like shopping with her]?!... She's great."

It has yet to be seen on TV whether Nick dumps Rachel after the Fantasy Suite, at the final Rose Ceremony, or some time in between, but she told Ellen that she was rejected "three months ago."

Once Rachel returned home from filming The Bachelor, she apparently got right back to work.

"I just finished a trial a couple of weeks ago," revealed Rachel, who does civil defense litigation.

The Bachelorette begins taping in March but won't premiere on ABC until May. As for what Rachel is looking for in a future husband, she explained, "I really don't have a physical type except for a great smile. I'm a sucker for a great smile. Who isn't? Right?"

The confident beauty continued, "I'm looking for a guy who can make me laugh. I'm looking for a guy who knows exactly what he wants, is ambitious, ready to start a family and get married -- because I'm in that phase of my life. So I'm really just looking for a guy who's secure, confident and knows exactly what it is that he wants."
