Investigators said Shawn David Cromer, 43, and Zachary Jordan Cassel, 21, broke into the home of their neighbor, from whom they had previously purchased marijuana, Friday night. Police said the two men took $60 cash, a bag of marijuana, a safe, a .45-caliber pistol, a laptop computer and a BlackBerry cellphone, the York Daily Record/Sunday News reported Monday.
Police said the two men fought the next morning when Cassel woke up and "realized that Cromer smoked most of the marijuana."
Officers were called to the apartment on a report of assault and both men were arrested and charged with burglary, criminal conspiracy to commit burglary, receiving stolen property and theft by unlawful taking or disposition. Cromer was also charged with possession of a firearm.
