Police in North Carolina said a man accused of breaking into a Red Lobster restaurant in an alleged attempt to steal cash and liquor made a pizza while there.

Greensboro police responding to the restaurant at 6:49 a.m. Monday discovered Bradley Dwight Michael, 32, surrounded by broken computers, liquor bottles and benches, the (Greensboro) News & Record reported Wednesday.
Damage was estimated at $30,000.
Investigators said Michael had broken in through the front door to steal liquor and cash.
"He pretty much trashed the dining area, liquor bottles, beer and things," manager Tom Brown said. "He also cooked pizza and tasted some cake. It looks like he sat down and ate."
Police said Michael appeared to be intoxicated. He was charged with breaking and entering, damage to real property and larceny after breaking and entering. He was ordered held in lieu of $50,000 bond.
