Police in Massachusetts said they are searching for a fortune teller allegedly involved in a plan to scam a woman out of $7,000.

Investigators said Tiffany Crystal Smith was arrested at a psychic shop on Whiting Street in Hingham Saturday and they obtained an arrested warrant Tuesday for Teresa Nicholas, who also works at the shop, The Quincy Patriot Ledger reported Wednesday.
Police said Smith and Nicholas scammed a 69-year-old Pembroke woman out of $7,000 by claiming they needed the money to prevent her daughter from committing suicide.
Smith pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges of larceny over $250 by false pretenses, larceny from a person over 65, conspiracy and two counts of larceny of more than $250. She was released after posting $1,500 bail.
