Shelby Jenkins, a six-year cancer survivor and member of Carolina Breast Friends, said the portable toilet that has been in the parking lot of Mr. K's Restaurant in Dilworth for the past week is designed to draw the attention of passersby and convince them to put money into a miniature version of the portable toilet inside the restaurant, WCNC-TV, Charlotte, N.C. , reported Thursday.
The portable toilet, which also features plantation shutters and flower boxes, contains pamphlets for Carolina Breast Friends.
"Do not use the porta-potty. Don't put money in the porta-potty. Get information out of the porta-potty mail box," Jenkins said.
Jenkins said the portable toilet will be moving to Kennedy's Bar next week and will then travel to several other Charlotte-area businesses.
