Pierce Brosnan to play evil kidnapper in 'Butterfly on a Wheel' film

Former "James Bond" Pierce Brosnan will play an evil kidnapper in the indie thriller "Butterfly on a Wheel."

Mike Barker will direct the film written by William Morrissey, Daily Variety reports.
Brosnan will play the kidnapper of a little girl who, over the course of a day, decimates what appears to be the perfect family.
It marks the second consecutive heavy role for Brosnan, who plays a hitman in the upcoming action-comedy "The Matador."
"Butterfly on a Wheel" will be shot in Chicago and Canada starting in February. Casting is not yet complete.
