Authorities in Italy say a couple accused of riding around on a scooter and robbing pedestrians allegedly brought their 4-year-old son along in the crime spree.

Naples police said Massimo Pesce and Paola Caldieri were identified by a 70-year-old man who said the couple snatched his iPhone while riding by on their scooter with the 4-year-old son in tow, ANSA reported Wednesday.
Police said it was not the first time the couple had brought their son along for scooter-trip thefts.
The parents were arrested and the boy was released into the custody of his grandmother.
