An elementary school in England has banned the throwing of paper airplanes at human targets, citing the risk of injury, the Sunday Mail reported.

The ban, enacted at Bishops Down Primary School in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, followed complaints by teachers that students were aiming airplanes at one another.
The making of paper airplanes has not been banned, just the use of humans as targets -- and the school has set up targets on the playground for children to throw at instead.
"These planes can have sharp edges and have the potential to damage a young person's eyes," principal Emma Savage told the newspaper.
School officials said no one has complained about the ban, but some parents have reacted with disbelief.
"It's taking the health-and-safety measures to absurd lengths," one father of a 7-year-old boy told the newspaper.
