The Toronto Sun said 75 people took off their pants together Saturday and enjoyed the Toronto subway system in an attempt to cause a bit of light-hearted chaos.
Meanwhile, the New York Daily News said nearly 900 like-minded people dropped their pants and rode the New York subway system Saturday as part of the annual No Pants Subway Ride.
The widespread prank was organized by the group, Improv Everywhere, and also included similar revealing acts in Washington, Chicago and six other cities.
Jesse Good, the organizer of the New York event, said it allowed the pranksters to spice up the daily routine of subway travel.
"Today, there are a few guys in suits you'd see on the street and you'd never expect to see them with no pants on, and yet here we are," the 29-year-old said.
