Janette Tough, who plays naughty schoolboy Wee Jimmy Krankie, and fellow cast member Gary Hollywood fell from a over-sized beanstalk at the Pavilion Theater during a matinee performance of "Jack and the Beanstalk," the Daily Mirror reported Thursday.

Tough, 57, broke her collarbone and suffered a head injury and will require a number of weeks to heal, officials at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary said.

Tough and her husband and stage partner Ian, also 57, made their name on BBC1 children's show "Crackerjack" and went on to host "The Krankies Club" on ITV.

They went into semi-retirement in 1991.
