"I really do think that's going to be it," Winfrey said of her contract, which expires in 2011, the New York Post said Friday.
Her comments to some 400 executives came at a Las Vegas party thrown by her show's distributor, King World.
Oprah has announced retirement plans before. In 1997 she suggested she was planning to retire, but she had a change of heart and renewed her contract through 2002. That year Winfrey said she would leave in 2006 to mark the 20th anniversary of her show's debut in national syndication.
Oprah's daily show is the highest-rated daytime talk show on TV while her magazine, "O" is among the most successful magazines on the newsstand.
Her net worth is estimated at around $1.1 billion.
