An online casino has placed the highest eBay bid to help a Virginia boy's fight to be rid of a tumor in his skull the youth has named Frank.

GoldenPalace.com emerged as the top bidder at $10,700 when the auction closed Wednesday for David Dingman-Grover, 9.
After news reports emerged of how the boy referred to the tumor at the base of his skull as "Frank," his mother Tiffini created an online auction to help defray medical costs of about $20,000 for surgery. The winning bid is simply a bumper sticker that says "Frank Must Die," the Washington Post said Thursday.
Last week, Dingman-Grover publicly lamented how difficult is to raise money, and chided GoldenPalace.com for its well-publicized $93,000 purchases of a grilled-cheese sandwich bearing an image of the Virgin Mary and a haunted walking cane.
GoldenPalace spokesman Monty Kerr said company officials had been following the auction as well as the mocking words about frivolous auctions.
"We've had a lot of fun buying strange things on eBay, but when we saw David's auction we knew we'd have to help him," Kerr said.
