UPI News Service, 10/05/2010

A doll modeled on Christine O'Donnell shows the Delaware U.S. Senate candidate dressed as a witch, its manufacturer says.

The Republican candidate, backed by the Tea Party, admitted in a 1990s television show that she had dabbled in witchcraft as a teenager. The New York Daily News says those comments have come back to haunt her in the form of a doll.

The action figure is offered by herobuilders.com as a black-dressed witch with long cape and point hat, the report said. Other public figures with their own action figures include President Barack Obama, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and disgraced financier Bernie Madoff.

O'Donnell's first ad campaign since winning the GOP primary has her declaring, despite her comments: "I'm not a witch".

The Daily News said the Christine O'Donnell Action Figure is on sale for $39.95, and a version as a corporate executive can be bought for for $29.95.
