Nick Viall's search for love has resumed, but he's remaining tight-lipped.

Nearly five months after the former The Bachelor star's split from Vanessa Grimaldi, Nick has revealed he's back in the dating game.

"I'm dating. That's about all I'll say," Nick told Us Weekly, noting that it took "an appropriate amount of time" to get over his breakup from Vanessa.

In early December 2017, Nick told the magazine that he's "out there" looking for the right girl and "we'll see what happens." He also revealed he's "on good terms" with his ex-fiancee and they continue to be "supportive" of each other.

"I'm hoping I'm lucky enough to meet someone sooner or later. If it happens, it happens," Nick had said.

Vanessa, a former special education teacher from Montreal, Canada, and Nick, a former software salesman turned entrepreneur and aspiring actor, got engaged on The Bachelor's Season 21 finale that aired in March 2017.

The couple, however, decided to call off their engagement and go their separate ways about five months later.

Vanessa was linked to pro hockey player Brendan Gallagher late last year, but she denied that a romantic relationship ever came to fruition.

Looking back on the past few years of his life, Nick said he doesn't have any regrets from his time on The Bachelor franchise -- four seasons or spinoffs, in fact -- despite ending up single. But he has no desire to appear on the show again.

When asked whether he'll be making a guest appearance on Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s currently-airing season of The Bachelor, Nick said, "I mean, I'm not trying to run away from anything. But my time on The Bachelor is over. Trying to just move forward."

Prior to starring on The Bachelor, Nick appeared on Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise as well as two different editions of The Bachelorette. Nick finished as the runner-up on both Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe's seasons of the show.

Nick apparently keeps in touch with a lot of people from Bachelor Nation, including Andi, who chose Josh Murray over Nick during her The Bachelorette finale on Season 10.

"I saw him at a wedding this summer. We'll, like, talk here and there, every once in a while," Andi told Us on Tuesday. "You know, like check in with each other. But that's about it. No [hard feelings]."
