New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg isn't impressed someone placed a lonely hearts ad in the New York Times, pretending to be him.

Bloomberg appeared slightly miffed as reporters peppered him with questions about the ad, which appeared in the newspaper's personal ads Sunday, Newsday reported.
"Mayor of New York City -- takes walks from City Hall in search of a woman who shares his warmth, compassion, intelligence," the ad said.
With his girlfriend of four years beside him -- state Banking Superintendent Diana Taylor -- Bloomberg said he didn't know why someone would spend money on such a prank.
"The banking superintendent would be annoyed if it was me and it is not me. I did not place that ad," he said.
Taylor took it more lightly.
"I thought it was pretty funny, but he's taken," she said. "Some people will do anything to get a date."
