The inquest, which is to start Oct. 30, will feature testimony from at least 35 witnesses, including the late Anna Nicole Smith's former attorney and companion, Howard K. Stern, TMZ reported Monday.
Daniel, 20, was found dead last September in his mother's hospital room three days after she gave birth to his half-sister, Dannielynn.
A private autopsy conducted by noted coroner Cyril Wecht found numerous drugs in Daniel's bloodstream, including methadone and anti-depressants. Wecht has said he has no information as to why he may have been taking methadone.
The official inquest into the death has been repeatedly postponed, TMZ said.
Anna Nicole Smith died in February at the age of 40.
