NBC to premiere fifth season of 'America's Got Talent' on June 1

NBC has announced America's Got Talent's fifth season will premiere over the course of two nights on Tuesday, June 1 at 8PM ET/PT and Wednesday, June 2 at 9PM ET/PT.
NBC subsequently tapped Deal or No Deal and Howie Do It star Howie Mandel to replace Hasselhoff and join returning judges Sharon Osborne and Piers Morgan, with Nick Cannon reprising his hosting duties.
America's Got Talent fifth-season open casting calls were held over the last several weeks, with stops in Los Angeles, Dallas, Orlando, Atlanta and Portland.
In addition to America's Got Talent's fifth season, NBC announced that Last Comic Standing's most-recent revival -- which will represent the reality series' seventh edition -- will premiere on Monday, June 7 at 8PM ET/PT.
