"Today" anchor Ann Curry and her husband, Brian Ross, are being sued by their neighbors for excessive disturbance while renovating their New York townhouse.

Three people are suing the couple for $915,000 in compensatory and punitive damages, the New York Daily News reported.

Curry and Ross bought the four-story townhouse for $2.9 million in November 2003, but still haven't moved in.

The construction work, which often began at 7 a.m. on weekends, was so loud that Roseanne O'Brien, who lived next door, moved out of the apartment where she had lived 25 years.

Wendy Rather, a writer who worked from home, said she had to rent office space.

Dr. John Lee and his wife, Dr. Lynne Lummel, said workmen punched holes in their chimney, covering their home with soot.

Curry, who also co-anchors "Dateline," said she was being exploited by neighbors who are out for her money.

Lee said Curry covers disasters all over the world to show that people care.

"She's got a disaster on W. 71st St., and she's not doing anything about it," he said.
