NBC says it plans to air "Will & Kate: A Royal Love Story" in honor of British Prince William's recent engagement to Kate Middleton.

The couple are to marry in London next spring or summer, royal officials said Tuesday.

NBC's hourlong "Dateline" special is set for broadcast Wednesday.

The program will take a special look at how the couple met, what drew them to each other and what their modern-day marriage will mean for the British monarchy.

It includes interviews with longtime friends and exclusive video of the future princess, NBC said in a news release Tuesday.
