Ronica Licciardello, speaking in an interview with "Inside Edition" that aired Monday, said the experience has been stressful for all contestants and "we just hope that the issue can be resolved and that everything works out for the best."
Miss New Jersey Amy Polumbo has received two sets of photos in the blackmail campaign. The state's investigation has been focused primarily Licciardello. Ever since the matter first came to light she has denied involvement, saying, "Nobody wants to win like this."
Licciardello told "Inside Edition" she roomed with Polumbo during the pageant.
"We were roommates and we got along very well actually, and she is a great girl, and I wish her all the best."
