Miley Cyrus was floored by her dad's public comments about the strain of his daughter's celebrity status, a source close to the family told People magazine.

"Miley is upset," the source said. "She is very hurt and angry."
People said Saturday that while 18-year-old Miley has yet to comment on the comments made by her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, she has "seemed stressed" by his remarks.
"She tries to hide it behind a constant smile," the source said.
Billy Ray said recently that his little girl's remarkable ascent had taken a toll on their family life. A friend of his told People that going public may have been his last-ditch effort to communicate his concerns to his daughter.
