Jackson's passport has been held by authorities since his Neverland ranch was raided in November 2003 in connection to charges of child molestation.
Since the 46-year-old pop star was found not guilty of child molestation and other charges last week after a lengthy trial in California, there have been reports he may fly to Europe as early as this week, the Sunday Times of London reported.
Jackson may be considering a vacation in Switzerland at the Gstaad home of his friend Elizabeth Taylor.
There are also reports that the singer is about $350 million in debt and may sell the 3,000-acre Neverland ranch.
