Michael J. Fox signs on for 'Boston Legal' guest star role

Emmy Award-winning actor Michael J. Fox has signed on for three episodes of ABC's "Boston Legal, it was reported Monday.

Fox will portray a "charismatic and dynamic" chief executive officer who's also battling stage four lung cancer, Zap2itcom. reported. The airdates for the episodes had not yet been scheduled.
"Boston Legal" creator David E. Kelly said he could "not be more excited" about Fox's Boston arrival. "His comedic and dramatic strengths make him a natural for this series."
Fox retired from series TV because of the effects of Parkinson's disease, which he has had for about 14 years. His last TV appearance was a two-episode stint in 2004 on NBC's "Scrubs."
