Michael Douglas nearly finished with his throat cancer treatment

Michael Douglas' publicist says the Hollywood actor is nearly finished with eight weeks of chemotherapy and radiation to treat his throat cancer.

"He's really happy about it ending," publicist Allen Burry told People.com, noting the 65-year-old "Wall Street" star has one more treatment this week.

"No further treatments are scheduled," Burry added.

People.com said the actor's recovery is expected to take about another six weeks.
