M.I.A. plans to perform a free concert at New York's Brooklyn Bowl, Interscope Records said Monday.

The event is to take place Oct. 6. Tickets are available to those 18 and older, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis, the record label said.
Doors are expected to open at 9:30 p.m. and people may begin lining up at 7 p.m. that night.
