Actress Maura Tierney, who plays Abby Lockhart on NBC's "ER," has filed for divorce in Los Angeles from her husband of 13 years, People magazine says.

Tierney cited irreconcilable differences with her husband, actor Billy Morrissette, in court papers.
Tierney, 41, and Morrissette, 43, became separated in March, court documents said. They have no children.
In addition to "ER," Tierney appeared in the sitcom "NewsRadio" and was also seen in the films "Primary Colors," "Liar Liar" and "Welcome to Mooseport."
Morrissette has appeared in the movie "Scotland, Pa.," which he also directed, and on the television shows "Mad About You," "Party of Five" and "Diagnosis Murder."
