"Today" co-host Matt Lauer may be losing his partner of 10 years on the NBC morning show, but his job is secure with a new deal running through 2011.

As Katie Couric announced her move the "CBS Evening News" and Meredith Vieira announced her move from ABC's "The View" to "Today," Lauer quietly signed a three year extension to his contract with "Today," which was due to expire in 2008, the New York Times reported Tuesday.
A source told the Times Lauer will make more than $13 million under the deal.
Lauer confirmed the extension, but declined to discuss the details, the newspaper said.
