Fox has announced the ninth season of MasterChef will premiere with a two-hour episode on Wednesday, May 30 at 8PM ET/PT.

On June 6, the network will air another two-hour episode at 8PM ET/PT, but beginning Wednesday, June 13, the series will air in its regular one-hour timeslot of 8-9PM ET/PT.

MasterChef's new edition will feature award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay, acclaimed chef Aaron Sanchez and the return of renowned restaurateur Joe Bastianich.

The three judges will, once again, put a group of contestants through a series of challenging elimination rounds in order to turn one home cook into a culinary master.

Christina Tosi -- who judged Seasons 6-8 of MasterChef -- will not be returning. Instead, Joe, whom Christina had replaced when he left in 2014, will be making his comeback after taking those three seasons off.

As for Aaron, he was just added to the lineup of judges last season.

The winner of MasterChef's eighth season was Dino Angelo Luciano. The season wrapped in September 2017.

Following MasterChef's debut in its regular time period on June 13, a brand new series called Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell And Back will debut at 9PM ET/PT.

The series will feature Gordon driving to struggling restaurants across the country in his state-of-the-art mobile kitchen, the Hell On Wheels, to hopefully restore them within 24 hours.
