The comic, featuring the New Avengers and the Fantastic Four, will have a massive print run of one million copies, Stars and Stripes reported. The first 150,000 will go to military exchanges in the Middle East, where they will be available to soldiers for free.
The effort was launched in partnership with "America Supports You," a Defense Department campaign that encourages private citizens, communities and businesses to reach out to troops and their families.
The book is written by popular Avengers scribe Brian Michael Bendis and drawn by industry favorites Dan Jurgens and Sandu Florea.
