Married at First Sight star Mia Bally released a statement after her divorce from husband Tristan Thompson was announced on Tuesday night's reunion special on Lifetime.

Mia took to Instagram after Married at First Sight's seventh-season reunion special aired and made a couple of comments about men that appear to be shots at Tristan.

In a post captioned, "Strong women," Mia wrote on Tuesday, "Real men don't demoralize women."

She also compared her experience of being with Tristan to her past relationships.

"Every man I've dated has said I'm not mentally strong or that I am a weak person," Mia wrote.

"I LOVE hearing the comments about how strong I am. The positive comments really go a long way after years of hearing I'm not a strong person."

Mia was seemingly referring to the fact Tristan had said Mia needed to be mentally tougher during the reunion show broadcast.

Only one day after "Decision Day" filmed, Mia and Tristan's marriage ended due to a blow-up fight over Tristan's ex-girlfriend. (Mia alleged Tristan showed off pictures of his ex in a bikini, while Tristan said a video popped up of his ex on his newsfeed and Mia simply became jealous).

"I said, 'You can't keep doing this; you have to get mentally tougher.' And about 30 seconds later, she had her purse over [her shoulder] and she said, 'Well, you don't have to be mean about it,' and she stormed out," Tristan said on the reunion special of the day Mia left him.

Mia said in reply, "He was like I'm not mentally strong or mentally tough, so that's when I removed myself from that situation because I honestly didn't know how to handle it."

Earlier this month, Mia returned to social media following a hiatus and linked to an article titled "25 Signs Your Man Is a Narcissist" in her Instagram bio.

Fans assumed Mia was slamming Tristan at the time, as she wrote alongside the link, "If they can't control you, they'll try to control how others see you."

While Mia's actual motive for posting the website link was unclear, she just changed it to something arguably even more passive aggressive.

Mia shared a link to an article entitled "17 Steps to Leaving an Abusive Relationship with a Narcissist."

Reality TV World previously reported Mia had filed for divorce from Tristan on September 4 in Dallas, TX, according to Dallas County court records.

"The marriage has become insupportable due to discord or conflict of personalities that destroys the legitimate ends of the marital relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation," Mia's attorney Bruce Kaye stated in a copy of the Dallas County court filing obtained by RadarOnline.

Although the phrasing may sound ominous, insupportability is the basis upon which Texas courts grant the vast majority of the state's divorce cases.
